As God brings people into our path we will use the gifts or abilities He has given us to glorify Him as we serve others. As we are entering into a new phase of life (getting older), our prayer is to pass down to our children and now grand-child this passion to serve God by serving others. Serving Him is by far the most rewarding thing we have ever done. We believe that as we follow His leading in serving others, He will provide for our needs (strength, time and knowledge) as we provide His grace to others.

1 Peter 4:10 and 11 "As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

The needy are mainly thought of as the homeless and the hungry, although the needy are also the elder women up the street who can't clean her windows anymore due to physical limitation or the working single mom a few blocks away who struggles to do the yard work are also the people we are called to minister to because of the needs they have. These are the types of the people God has brought in our path to pour out the many forms of grace that each one needs at different times and different ways.

Our hope is that you know God as your Savior and our desire is to encourage you to serve God. As you grow in the Lord and continue to serve Him you should and will naturally serve others.
